PELHAM — A four-week investigation led police to an alleged drug dealer from Lawrence who was reportedly delivering large amounts of heroin to homes in Pelham.
Reynaldo Mejia, 28, of Lawrence, was arrested for operating without a valid license, disobeying an officer, falsifying physical evidence, driver's license prohibitions, possession of false identification and a defaulted warrant out of Massachusetts.
Police said Mejia at first presented police with a Massachusetts license out of Lawrence with the name George Santana-Santos.
Pelham police and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit arrested Mejia on Marsh Road on Sept. 14, according to arrest records.
Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) is assisting with the investigation, police said.
Mejia was held on bail and will be arraigned Friday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
