PLAISTOW — A staged bachelor party Friday night ended with the arrest of two people on prostitution charges.
Plaistow police detectives set up the sting after investigating whether The Plaistow Party Group LLC was providing strippers for private parties who would also perform sexual acts for cash.
After several weeks of investigation, police staged a bachelor party Friday night in Plaistow, with police officers as the supposed guests, according to Deputy police Chief Kathleen Jones.
When the "guests" asked whether the women would perform various sex acts, the answers resulted in the arrests of one of the strippers and Clifford Bissonette, 57, of Plaistow.
They are both charged with prostitution, and Bissonette also is charged with conspiracy to commit prostitution, police said. Bissonette allegedly drove the two women to the party.
