To the editor:

D.J. Beauregard is running for Methuen City Council at large because he is passionate about our community and genuinely wants to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone around him. He has the experience, motivation and passion we need to move Methuen forward.

As a new dad, he recognizes the need to invest in our future. As someone who was born and raised in Methuen, he is a product of the Methuen public schools and understands the importance of delivering a quality education for our city's students.

He cares deeply about public safety, and he wants to work with groups like the Clean River Project to help preserve Methuen's natural resources.

D.J. wants to ensure that Methuen is a city that works for everyone, and he will stand up for our seniors, veterans and working families. He is an advocate for fiscal responsibility and wants to help make our local government more accountable and accessible.

I know D.J., and I know that he will take time to listen to the concerns of every resident. I hope my fellow residents will join me in supporting his campaign.
